Man Killed in Kearny Mesa Pedestrian Accident near Interstate 15 offramp to Aero Drive
San Diego, California (March 13, 2019) – A man was fatally hit by a vehicle in the Kearny Mesa area early Wednesday morning, according to the CHP.
The incident occurred at about 1:40 a.m. near the Interstate 15 offramp to Aero Drive.
The CHP report showed that a man was struck by a Nissan Altima near the start of the offramp from I-15 south.

The victim, whose identity was withheld, died at the site of the collision.
The man driving the Nissan that was involved in the crash remained at the scene.
An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is underway.
