71-Year-Old Man Killed in San Diego Crash on Rancho Bernardo Road and Meandro Road
San Diego, California (January 7, 2020) – An elderly driver was killed in a crash involving two vehicles on Monday night in San Diego, according to a police report.
The wreck took place at about 6:30 p.m. January 6, in the area of Rancho Bernardo Road and Meandro Road.
San Diego police said a 23-year-old woman was driving a pickup truck eastbound on Rancho Bernardo Road when she collided with a 71-year-old man who made a left turn from Meandro Road and pulled in front of her.
Elderly Man Killed in San Diego Car Crash
The elderly driver was given CPR at the scene by emergency crews and then rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The other driver was taken to the hospital with a broken tailbone.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
The authorities are investigating this incident.
