San Diego, CA: 2 Hospitalized after Car Crash on Interstate 5 at Pacific Highway On-Ramp
2 Injured in San Diego Crash on Interstate 5 at Pacific Highway On-Ramp
San Diego, California (March 27, 2021) – Two people were taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday evening in San Diego, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities said at around 7:45 p.m., a pickup truck, a sedan, and an SUV collided on southbound Interstate 5 at the Pacific Highway on-ramp.
The vehicles were blacked out and blocking traffic lanes after the accident.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported two patients to UC San Diego Medical Center. The victims suffered minor injuries in the accident.
The roadway was cleared as at 8:57 p.m.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
