Child Injured in San Diego Pedestrian Accident at Ocean View Hills School
San Diego, California (January 26, 2019) – A child was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle at a school parking lot in San Diego, according to the authorities.
The crash took place at Ocean View Hills School on Del Sol Boulevard shortly after 8 a.m. January 25.
Police said an 11-year-old child ran in front of a vehicle traveling east through the school’s parking lot and was hit.
The victim sustained a non-life-threatening head injury and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The 57-year-old woman driving the car remained at the scene.
Police did not release the identities of the parties involved in the accident.
The crash is under investigation.
