Two Injured in Sacramento Car Crash on Highway 50 near Sunrise Boulevard
Sacramento, California (January 26, 2019) – Two people were hurt when a vehicle collided with a Caltrans vehicle on Friday morning in Sacramento, CHP said.
The crash took place at about 10 a.m. January 25 on Highway 50 near Sunrise Boulevard.
CHP said a 50-year-old man was driving a Chevrolet Bolt westbound on Highway 50 when he looked away from the road momentarily and before he knew it, he slammed into a Caltrans vehicle in front of him.
Both drivers sustained minor injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet was taken to UC Davis Medical Center.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
