San Diego, CA: 1 Hospitalized after Crash Involving Amazon Big Rig on Interstate 5
1 Injured in San Diego Crash on Interstate 5 near State Route 15; Wednesday Morning
San Diego, California (March 10, 2021) – Authorities said one person was sent to the hospital after a traffic collision involving an Amazon big rig crash Wednesday morning in San Diego.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident transpired at about 7:10 a.m. on northbound Interstate 5 near State Route 15.
The report said a gray Toyota Tacoma collided with the big rig for unknown reasons.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported an occupant of the Tacoma to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
It was not clear if anyone else was injured.
CHP officers are investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
