San Bernardino County, California (April 15, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a head-on collision that happened Wednesday night in San Bernardino County, resulting in major injuries.

The accident was reported just before 10:00 p.m. on Highway 95.

A gray Toyota Scion and a Mini Cooper collided head-on under unclear circumstances. The Scion went about 30-40 feet off the roadway after the collision.

Responding emergency crews said the accident resulted in major injuries but did not mention the number of patients.

At least one lane of the highway was closed to allow crews to recover the Scion and clean debris that was scattered in the roadway.
