San Bernardino, California (April 27, 2019) – A woman was killed in an accident involving a car and a semi-trailer on Thursday afternoon in San Bernardino, as per a local news source.

The crash was reported at about 12:30 p.m. April 25, on Highway 18 south of Upper Waterman Canyon Road.

According to California Highway Patrol, a Ford Ranger was traveling southbound on the highway in an unknown lane when, for unknown reasons, it struck a tractor-trailer which was parked completely off the roadway.

2 Injured in Fatal Car Crash in San Bernardino

A passenger in the Ford was injured and transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the Ford was severely injured and transported to Loma Linda Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the trailer had minor injuries.

The identity of the deceased was not immediately released.

The crash remains under investigation.
