San Bernardino, California (April 3, 2019) – Injuries were sustained after a multi-car collision Tuesday afternoon in the area of San Bernardino, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The collision happened at about 4: 40 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, on southbound 215 Freeway, just north of Mill Street.

As per the report, three vehicles including a Ford Focus crashed for unknown reasons. The Ford was fully engulfed in flames following the collision.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and the degree of injuries they suffered were not immediately known.

One of the vehicles involved sustained moderate to significant front-end damage as a result of the collision.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
