Man Dies in San Bernardino Bicycle Crash on Baseline Street near Valencia Avenue

San Bernardino, California (March 21, 2020) – A man riding a bike was killed when he collided with a police vehicle on Thursday afternoon in San Bernardino, according to the authorities.

The crash took place at about 4:55 p.m. March 19, on Baseline Street near Valencia Avenue.

According to the report, the rider was going west on Baseline Street when he tried to turn and cross the westbound lanes and was hit by a patrol vehicle.

Rider Killed in San Bernardino Bicycle Collision

The rider, only identified as a 61-year-old San Bernardino man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The officer involved was responding to a call at the time and was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
