Possible Injuries after Salton Crash on Highway 86 and Borrego Salton Seaway

Salton, California (February 22, 2019) – Possible injuries were reported after a traffic collision Thursday night in the area of Salton, according to authorities.
The collision happened at around 8:23 p.m. Thursday, February 21, on Highway 80 and Borrego Salton Seaway off-ramp.
As per the officials, two semi-trucks crashed for unknown reasons. One of the big rigs went down after the impact.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the possibly injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
A load of spinach was spilled in the roadway following the collision.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
