41-Year-Old Sacramento Man Killed in Pittsburg Car Crash on Highway 4 near Loveridge Road

Pittsburg, California (January 25, 2021) – A Sacramento man was killed in a single-vehicle traffic accident in Pittsburg Monday morning, according to a local news source.
The deadly crash happened at around 7:58 a.m. on Highway 4, just west of Loveridge Road, the California Highway Patrol reported.
According to the CHP, the 41-year-old Sacramento man was driving a black Nissan Ultima eastbound on Highway 4 when, for unknown reasons, it crashed on the roadway and rolled over along the right shoulder of the highway.

The man was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
It was not immediately clear whether alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.
Traffic lanes were closed as the authorities investigated, and as of 9:08 a.m., all lanes were reopened.
