Sacramento County, California (May 5, 2020) – Injuries were reported in a wrong-way traffic collision that occurred early Monday morning in Sacramento County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported shortly after 2:30 a.m. May 4, on Highway 50 near Howe Avenue.
According to the report, a big rig hauling scrap metal was hit head-on by a wrong-way driver on the westbound side of the collision.

Lanes were closed in both directions of Highway 50 as crews worked to clear the scene.
