Sacramento County, CA: Major Injury Head-On Collision on Highway 12
2 Injured, 1 Seriously, in Sacramento County Crash on Highway 12 near Jackson Slough Road
Sacramento County, California (July 13, 2021) – Two people were injured, one seriously, following a head-on crash in Sacramento County Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision was reported just after 9:00 a.m. Monday, July 12, on Highway 12, just east of Jackson Slough Road, and involved three vehicles.
CHP said a silver 1991 Acura Legend, a white 2014 Dodge Dakota pickup, and a gray 2001 Lexus IS300 collided on the eastbound side of Highway 12.
2 Hospitalized after Highway 12 Accident in Sacramento County
According to the CHP, two patients were transported to a hospital, one with major injuries.
Eastbound lanes of Highway 12 near Jackson Slough were shut down during the investigation.
No other details about the accident were immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
