Injuries Reported after Sacramento School Bus Accident at Power Inn Road and Elsie Avenue
Sacramento, California (January 24, 2019) – Injuries were reported Thursday morning following a traffic crash involving a school bus and three vehicles in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash, which was reported at around 8:33 a.m., happened at the intersection of Power Inn Road and Elsie Avenue.
The vehicles involved were described as, a silver Nissan Sentra, a red Ford Escape and a white Hyundai Tuscon. The Hyundai SUV collided head-on with the bus.
Firefighters along with paramedics responded to the scene and extricated the driver of one of the vehicles who was trapped in the wreckage.
The paramedics then rendered aid to those injured. The names of the victims and their conditions were not immediately disclosed.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
