Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Sacramento Accident on Highway 50

Sacramento, California (June 14, 2021) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a traffic collision in Sacramento Saturday evening.
The hit-and-run crash happened at approximately 6:20 p.m. on westbound Highway 50 just east of the Interstate 80 Business.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, a motorcyclist collided with a vehicle whose driver escaped the scene after the crash.
Major Injury Sacramento Crash
The rider sustained major injuries, including bleeding from the arm following the accident. The unidentified victim was attended to by paramedics before being taken to an area hospital for further medication.
Meanwhile, the crash resulted in the closure of the westbound lanes of Highway 50 for an unknown time.
