Injuries Sustained in Highway 50 Pileup Crash near Bradshaw Road in Sacramento

Sacramento, California (June 2, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a multi-car accident involving an ambulance that happened early Wednesday morning in Sacramento.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened at about 4:00 a.m. on Highway 50 near Bradshaw Road.
According to the CHP, a car was traveling eastbound on Highway 50 when it spun out and crashed into a speed sign.
Following the crash, an ambulance pulled over at the scene to render aid. Another vehicle crashed into the car that previously crashed. The car was then pushed into the ambulance.
According to the CHP, the injuries sustained in the crash were not serious.
The CHP said drowsy driving played a role in the crash.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
