Rider Severely Hurt in Sacramento Motorcycle Accident at El Camino Avenue and Albatross Way
Sacramento, California (September 6, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic collision in Sacramento on Wednesday afternoon.
The motorcycle collision happened at around 3:15 p.m. September 4, at El Camino Avenue and Albatross Way, east of the Business 80 freeway
A local news source indicated that a motorcycle and a vehicle of unspecified built collided at the intersection for an unknown reason.
The motorcyclist suffered severe injuries in the crash. The victim was attended to by fire department officials along with the paramedics and then rushed to the hospital for further treatment.
It was not mentioned whether or not the driver of the involved vehicle stopped after the crash and cooperated with the officials’ investigation.
The identity of the injured party has not yet been released to this time.
The crash resulted in the closure of El Camino Avenue in both directions as a result of the accident. The highway was reopened as of 9:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
