Sacramento, California (August 7, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hurt in a traffic collision involving multiple vehicles in Sacramento Wednesday afternoon, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The motorcycle collision occurred at around 2:18 p.m. August 7, on Highway 99 at Mack Road.

The accident involved a blue Honda, a white Nissan Sentra, a white Nissan Altima, and a motorcycle rider. The precise circumstances that led to the collision are still under investigation.

The motorcyclist appeared to have a fractured hand injury following the crash. The victim was attended to by paramedics who arrived at the scene shortly after the accident.

It was not mentioned whether or not the victim was transported to the hospital after the wreck.

The crash remains under an active investigation.
