Minor Injuries Sustained in Sacramento Motorcycle Crash on 5 Freeway near Fruitridge Road On-Ramp
Sacramento, California (January 13, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a motorcycle accident that took place Wednesday morning in Sacramento.
The minor injury crash happened at about 7:16 a.m. on northbound 5 Freeway, just north of Fruitridge Road on-ramp.
A motorcycle collided with a car for unknown reasons, the report said.
The motorcycle and the rider were found in the No. 3 lane by first responders. The motorcyclist was possibly unconscious.
Authorities said the rider sustained minor injuries in the crash. It was not clear if the victim was hospitalized.
The motorcycle was towed away from the collision scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
