Sacramento, California (April 7, 2019) – A man and a young girl were severely hurt in a traffic collision that happened in Sacramento on Friday afternoon, according to police.

The accident occurred at around 3:45 p.m. April 5, on Norwood Avenue.

The police report indicated that a black-colored Nissan struck a red Toyota Corolla that was traveling south on Norwood Avenue. As a result of the impact, the Toyota slammed into a nearby power pole. The reason for the collision is still under investigation.

At Least 2 Injured in Sacramento Car Crash

The crash left a man and a 14-year-old girl who were riding in the Corolla with major injuries. The wounded parties were immediately rushed to a hospital for treatment.

The male driver of the other involved car was also transported to the hospital with severe injuries. As per the reports, he was believed to have caused the accident.

Meanwhile, the identities of the victims remained unknown to this time.

Over-speeding was believed to be a factor in the collision.
