Major Injuries Sustained in Sacramento Crash on 5 Freeway at Laguna Boulevard
Sacramento, California (December 22, 2019) – Major injuries were sustained following a traffic accident that happened Friday evening in South Sacramento, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened shortly after 6:01 p.m. Friday, December 20 on the Interstate 5 Freeway near the Laguna Boulevard exit.
As per the CHP report, a dark-colored sedan, a silver Kia, and a pickup truck collided on Interstate 5 for unknown reasons. As a result of the crash, the sedan drove through a fence and ended up off the right-hand shoulder of the freeway
Major Injury Multi-Vehicle Accident in Sacramento
Authorities said the collision resulted in major injuries. The number of patients and their identities were not immediately disclosed.
The accident remains under investigation.
