Major Injuries Reported After Sacramento Motorcycle Collision at Elkhorn Boulevard and Levee Road

Sacramento, California (August 16, 2020) – Major injuries were sustained after a motorcycle and a vehicle collided Saturday afternoon at an intersection in Sacramento.
On August 15, at about 3:35 p.m., officers received a report of a crash involving a male party riding a motorcycle and a car at Elkhorn Boulevard and Levee Road.
Due to the impact, the rider was ejected from the bike and was found about 100 feet down the embankment by emergency crews who responded at the crash site shortly after 3:35 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol said the accident resulted in major injuries.
Officials requested a tow truck with a long cable to remove the vehicles away from the scene.
The accident remains under an investigation by the CHP.
