Sacramento, CA: Hit-and-Run Accident at Elkhorn Boulevard and Mcdermott Drive

Sacramento, California (November 20, 2020) – At least one person was injured Thursday afternoon in an alleged hit-and-run accident at an intersection in North Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The wreck happened at around 4:10 p.m. Thursday, November 19, at the intersection of Elkhorn Boulevard and Mcdermott Drive.

The CHP said a man was riding his blue motorcycle at the intersection when, for unknown reasons, he collided with a white Honda Civic.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and provided medical aid to at least one person who was injured as a result of the crash. The name and condition of the victim were not immediately disclosed.

One of the drivers involved in the accident reportedly fled the scene. There was no description of the hit-and-run suspect.

The accident remains under investigation.
