55-Year-Old Man Killed in Sacramento Truck Accident at Palm Avenue and Irvington Avenue

Sacramento, California (February 3, 2019) – One person was killed Friday morning in a traffic accident at a Sacramento intersection, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner.
The tragic crash happened at around 11:57 a.m. Friday, February 1 at the intersection of Palm Avenue and Irvington Avenue.
Authorities said a 55-year-old San Bernardino man was driving a 2010 Ford Edge when for an unknown reason he rear-ended a box truck.
The driver of the Ford Edge was rushed to a Community Hospital of San Bernardino, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at around 12 46 p.m. His name has not been released pending identification and notification of family.
Police are investigating the accident.
