Woman Killed in Carmichael Pedestrian Accident on Arden Way near McClaren Drive
Sacramento, California (March 22, 2019) – An elderly woman was killed after being struck by a car in the Carmichael area of Sacramento on Friday morning.
According to a local news source, the accident occurred on Arden Way near McClaren Drive at an unspecified time in the morning.
The authorities said a 16-year-old girl was driving a car westbound on the roadway when she drifted off the roadway and struck two women who were walking on the shoulder.
Woman Killed, Another Injured in Sacramento Pedestrian Accident
One of the women sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second woman sustained major injuries in the collision.
The motorist reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
