Minor Injuries Reported after Sacramento Crash on Highway 99 and 12th Avenue
Sacramento, California (February 19, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision Monday night in the area of Sacramento, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision happened at around 10:29 p.m. Monday, February 18, on northbound Highway 99, just south of 12th Avenue off-ramp.
As per the report, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
Officials blocked all lanes following the collision. All lanes were opened as of 11:27 p.m.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
