Pedestrian Hurt in Siskiyou County Train Accident near Mossbrae Falls
Dunsmuir, California (February 19, 2019) – A person was hospitalized after being struck by a Union Pacific train early Monday morning in Dunsmuir, Siskiyou County, according to the authorities.
The incident happened on the Union Pacific tracks near Mossbrae Falls on Monday, February 18.
Authorities said a man was walking along the train tracks when a northbound train struck him.
The victim was flown to Mercy Medical Center in Mt. Shasta with a head injury. The extent of the victim’s injuries was unknown.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
