Sacramento, CA: 2-Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Highway 50
1 Injured in South Sacramento Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Highway 50
Sacramento, California (July 19, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a car crash on the 5 Freeway in south Sacramento on Sunday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened along the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 Freeway near Highway 50 at about 3:56 p.m. July 18.
A red Toyota Camry and at least two other vehicles were involved in the crash. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was yet to be established.
The CHP said at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
