Russel Ambrose ID’d as 1 of 2 Killed in Newberry Springs Car Crash at Fairview and Harvard Roads
Newberry Springs, California (April 26, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday morning car crash that left two people killed and one other person was injured in Newberry Springs.
The crash happened at the intersection of Fairview Road and Harvard Road at about 10:47 a.m., on April 25.
A Jeep Wrangler, which was traveling eastbound on Fairview Road, struck a Polaris Ranger that was heading southbound on Harvard Road.
The Jeep driver, Russel Ambrose, 58, a resident of Newberry Springs, was airlifted to St. Mary Medical Center for treatment. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
A front-seat passenger in the Polaris died at the scene.
No further information about the crash was immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
