Rubidia Albarenga Killed in Elk Grove Car Crash on Highway 99 near Laguna Boulevard
Elk Grove, California (January 8, 2020) – A woman was killed in a multi-car crash on Sunday night in Elk Grove, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal collision happened at about 10:30 p.m. January 5, on Highway 99 near the Laguna Boulevard.
20-year-old Rubidia Y. Cartagena Albarenga of Sacramento was reportedly driving a Toyota Prius on the roadway when she was involved in a multi-car crash. The events leading up to the collision were not immediately established.
Albarenga sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other information about the accident was provided.
