Gustine, California (January 8, 2020) – According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Gustine early Wednesday morning.
The accident was reported at about 12:35 a.m. on I-5 Freeway near Highway 140.
A semi-truck is reported to have crossed multiple lanes and collided with several vehicles, including a fuel tanker.
The authorities said one person was killed in the accident.
Fuel was spilled on the roadway and the highway was temporarily closed for Hazmat cleanup.
