3 Injured in Roseville Car Collision on Base Line Road near Watt Avenue
Roseville, California (January 23, 2020) – Three people were injured in a two-car collision that happened Thursday morning in Roseville, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck took place at about 11:31 a.m. on westbound Base Line Road, just a mile west of Watt Avenue.
A Ford sedan and a green Dodge pickup truck collided, possibly head-on, for unknown reasons. The truck ended up 50 feet down an embankment.
An off-duty firefighter at the scene reported that three people were injured in the crash. One of the victims sustained major injuries and two others minor injuries.
Both lanes were closed as investigators worked the scene.
