Kymberly Davenport Killed in Long Beach Crash on Palo Verde Avenue and Atherton Street
Long Beach, California (January 23, 2020) – A woman was on Wednesday night struck and killed by a vehicle at a Long Beach intersection, according to Long Beach police.
The crash happened on Palo Verde Avenue and Atherton Street just before 8:20 p.m. January 22.
Police said 32-year-old Kymberly Davenport of Long Beach, came from the west curb of Palo Verde Avenue and was hit by a 2019 Dodge pickup truck traveling south.

Davenport was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
Police said DUI, speed, and cell phone distraction were not suspected to be factors in the accident.
Police are investigating the incident.
