2 Injured in San Diego Car Accident at College Avenue and University Avenue
San Diego, California (January 6, 2020) – Two people were injured in a traffic collision involving a truck that ran a red light at an intersection in the Rolando area of San Diego on Sunday evening.
The accident happened at the intersection of College and University avenues at about 4:30 p.m. January 5, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A gray Chevy truck reportedly ran a red light at the intersection and collided with a white Ford van.
The impact of the crash caused the truck to roll over on top of a red sedan.
Two female occupants of the sedan were transported to Mercy Hospital with minor injuries.
The truck driver fled the scene on foot and was yet to be located.
No other information about the accident was provided.
