1 Injured in Riverside Motorcycle Crash on 215 Freeway near Columbia Avenue
Riverside, California (June 5, 2021) – A major injury motorcycle accident was reported in Riverside on Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened along the southbound lanes of Interstate 215 Freeway near Columbia Avenue at about 11:44 p.m. June 4.
A motorcycle was traveling on the freeway when it slammed into the back of a vehicle.
The paramedics who responded to the incident located the rider down on the HOV lane.
The motorcyclist sustained major injuries in the accident and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the motorcycle accident.
