El Cajon Accident on East Main Street Kills Pedestrian

El Cajon, California (June 5, 2021) – A 60-year-old man was hit and killed by a vehicle Thursday night in El Cajon, a local news source reported.
The deadly crash took place shortly after 10:00 p.m. in the area of 1900 E. Main Street.
The male pedestrian was hit by a gray Nissan Altima while crossing the street outside of a crosswalk.
The Nissan Altima was reportedly moving east on Main Street from Pepper Drive, possibly without headlights at the collision time.
Fatal El Cajon Pedestrian Accident
The unidentified man died at the hospital while undergoing treatment.
The Nissan operator stopped after the crash and cooperated with the law enforcers.
Intoxication was not believed to have played a role in the June 3 accident.
