At Least 1 Injured in Riverside Accident on Interstate 215 Freeway near Blaine Street
Riverside, California (December 9, 2020) – At least one person was injured following a traffic accident that happened Tuesday morning on a freeway in Riverside, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
At around 6:53 a.m. Tuesday, December 8, the CHP officers received a report about the accident on Interstate 215 Freeway near Blaine Street.
A Nissan minivan collided with a gray Toyota Corolla in the southbound lane of the freeway at Blaine Street, the CHP report states.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found both vehicles blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the interstate. After the crash, the minivan was facing the wrong way, authorities said.
At least one person sustained unspecified injuries as a result of the crash. The identity of the victim and their condition were not immediately diclosed.
A tow truck was dispatched to the scene to remove the wrecked vehicles.
