Ripon Crash on State Route 99 at Jack Tone Road Injures At Least Person
Ripon, California (May 24, 2021) – At least one person was injured following an alleged hit-and-run collision Saturday evening in Ripon, the California Highway Patrol said.
The traffic crash was reported just after 10:20 p.m. on State Route 99 near the Jack Tone Road onramp
The accident involved at least two automobiles that crashed on the southbound side of the roadway under unclear circumstances.
As per the report, a sedan caught fire which was extinguished by firefighters.
At Least 1 Injured in Ripon Accident
The crash left at least one person with unspecified injuries.
Officials affirmed one of the involved drivers did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.
An investigation into the May 22nd accident is underway.
