Richard Cuthbert ID’d as Person Killed in San Bernardino Car Accident at W. Highland Avenue and W. Sierra Way

San Bernardino, California (January 21, 2019) – The person who was killed early Friday morning in a traffic accident that also injured three other people at an intersection in San Bernardino has been identified as Richard Cuthbert, 40, of Redlands, according to the San Bernardino Sheriff-Coroner.
The tragic collision was reported at about 12:15 a.m. Friday, January 18 at the intersection of W. Highland Avenue and W. Sierra Way and involved two vehicles.
According to police, Kortni Vinson, 26, of Rialto, was driving a Dodge Caliber northbound on W. Sierra Way when she allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with W. Highland Avenue and hit a westbound Chrysler 200 driven by Cuthbert.
Responding paramedics declared Cuthbert dead at the scene and her two passengers sustained unspecified injuries.
Vinson and her two passengers were all taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
Authorities believed that Vinson was under the influence of alcohol when the crash occurred.
