Arturo Juarez and Freddy Solorzano Arrested after Santa Paula DUI Crash at Santa Paula and Bradley Streets

Santa Paula, California (January 21, 2019) – 40-year-old Arturo Juarez and 27-year-old Freddy Solorzano, all from Santa Paula have been arrested after an alleged DUI collision October last year, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at around 10:35 p.m. Saturday, October 20, at Santa Paula and Bradley Streets.
As per the report, Jaurez was driving at 69 mph in a 35mph zone when he hit another car driven by Solorzano.
Responding firefighters confirmed that 27-year-old Alma Cresanto of Santa Paula riding in the victim car and her unborn baby died at the scene as a result of the collision.
Cresanto’s 2-year-old daughter was transported to Ventura County Medical Center and then to Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles with severe head trauma.
Authorities said that Jaurez’s blood alcohol content was almost twice the legal limit at the time of the crash. He was arrested and charged with felony gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and other DUI-related felony offenses involving injury. Juarez was booked into Ventura County jail with a bail set at $150,000.
Officials also arrested Solorzano on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
