Ricardo Rodriguez ID’d as Man Killed in Riverside Big Rig Accident on Interstate 215 at Central Avenue near Box Springs Road
Riverside, California (September 4, 2020) – Ricardo Rodriguez, 49, of San Jacinto, has been identified as the man who was killed in a big rig accident on Thursday afternoon in Riverside, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 12:34 p.m., on September 4, on Interstate 215 at Central Avenue, just north of Box Springs Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two tractor-trailers and a Ford Expedition collided in the HOV and fast lane in unclear circumstances.

Rodriguez, who was in the Expedition, sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
The roadway was closed due to the accident, and as of 5:00 p.m., they were reopened.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
