Redwood City, California (January 9, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon in the area of Redwood City, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The accident happened at around 2:39 p.m. Wednesday at Vista Point 3 to northbound 280 Freeway on-ramp.

As per the report, a gray Nissan Altima and a white Toyota RAV4  crashed for reasons still under investigation. The vehicles were blocking the on-ramp following the collision.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the accident victims. The number of the injured persons and their current condition remained unknown.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
