Redding Accident at Railroad and Eugenia Avenues Kills One Person
Redding, California (April 23, 2021) – A Redding motorcycle accident that occurred Wednesday afternoon left one person dead, the Redding Police Department said.
The deadly crash was reported at approximately 4:20 p.m., April 21, in the area of Railroad and Eugenia Avenues.
The accident began when a motorcyclist heading southbound on Railroad Avenue approaching the intersection of Eugenia Avenue lost control of the bike for unknown reasons.
The rider was then ejected from the motorcycle and slammed into a 2016 Toyota Avalon that was preparing to leave the parking lot of Owen’s Pharmacy.
Fatal Redding Motorcycle Accident
Sadly, the rider was declared deceased at the scene.
Intoxication was not believed to have played a role in the wreck.
