Redding, California (April 23, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained following a head-on collision Thursday morning in Lomond, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said the fiery accident took place on Highway 9 near Mill Street at approximately 6:18 a.m.
It was not immediately established how two dark-colored SUVs crashed along the roadway on April 22.
Due to the impact, one of the cars caught fire, but both motorists managed to rescue themselves.
