Redding, California (May 3, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured after a motorcycle crash Thursday evening in the area of Redding, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The collision occurred on 5 Freeway, just south of Knighton Road at around 5:26 p.m. Thursday, May 2.

As per the report, a motorcycle and a vehicle crashed for unknown reasons.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the motorcyclist who suffered severe injuries as a result of the crash. The victim’s name and their current condition were not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
