1 Injured in Redding Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Gas Point Road
Redding, California (February 4, 2021) – Injuries were reported in a traffic collision that happened in Redding on Thursday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened along the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 Freeway near Gas Point Road at about 11:04 p.m. February 3.
The authorities who responded to the incident found a Chevrolet Equinox that had overturned onto its side. The events leading up to the collision, however, were not immediately established.
As per the CHP report, at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to Shasta Regional Hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
