1 Injured in Fiery Red Bluff Truck Accident on Reeds Creek Road near Wilder Road
Red Bluff, California (August 21, 2020) – One person was injured in a fiery truck crash on Friday morning in Red Bluff, authorities said.
The crash happened at about 10:30 a.m. on Reeds Creek Road near Wilder Road.
According to the police, a Mt. Shasta Spring Water truck drifted off the road and hit a tree. The factors that contributed to the accident are yet to be established.
Following the collision, the truck caught fire, which spread into vegetation. The fence across the street from 20200 Reeds Creek Road was also damaged.
One person was extricated from the vehicle. The patient sustained possibly a broken leg.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
