Rebecca Pulling ID’d as Lafayette Woman Killed in Walnut Creek Pedestrian Crash on Interstate 680 near North Main Street

Walnut Creek, California (November 17, 2020) – Rebecca Pulling, 42, of Lafayette, has been identified as the woman who was hit and killed by a vehicle on Monday night in Walnut Creek, according to the Contra Costa County coroner’s office.
At about 10:46 p.m., on November 16, the California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly pedestrian crash within a construction zone on southbound Interstate Highway 680, just north of North Main Street.
Pulling was reportedly walking on the highway when a Chrysler Sebring struck her, in unclear circumstances, in the No. 4 southbound lane.

Sadly, Pulling was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
