Devon Pellum Arrested Following Fatal Beaumont Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident at Pennsylvania Avenue and 10 Freeway
Beaumont, California (November 17, 2020) – Authorities have arrested 22-year-old Devon Pellum, 22, of Hemet, following an alleged fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident Friday evening in Beaumont.
Police responded to the fatal crash site at about 6:00 p.m., on November 13, at Pennsylvania Avenue and 10 Freeway.
35-year-old Jenna Fortier was struck by a vehicle driven by Pellum at the intersection for undermined reasons.
Meanwhile, Pellum did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.
Jenna Fortier Fatal Hit-and-Run Beaumont Crash
Fortier, a San Jacinto resident, died in the wreck.
Authorities later arrested Pellum on Saturday on suspicion of hit-and-run causing death.
